Open your eyes to the beautiful sunrise,
See your love lying by your side,
Smiling knowing that I m waiting for her smile,
Cuddling by me not letting me rise,
Wishing for an everlasting sunrise.
Up on one foot not feeling the other,
Fighting a cuddle back with my lover
Pushing me heavy self away from my lover
Faking a will broken by the hour
Realising I will be long away from my lover
I leave her behind to face the day.
Away from the safe warm arms of love,
Locking her inside my heart and home,
Peeping to see her smile before I’m gone
and telling me to be back before long.
The long got longer as work piled on
Checking my watch every second gone
Ringing her to hear her chirping along
Telling me she will wait no matter how long
Listening to the sunset sing a mellow song.
As the longest day came to an end,
I told myself I’ll neva leave her again,
Not being with her ain’t worth a bargain,
As this day has given me enough pain
And I fell in love with her all over again
I felt being in love is eternal bliss,
Running back home for a cuddle I miss,
Hurrying down town for her sweet little kiss,
Back to the world of love n warmth I left,
To find her missing me more than ever, more than me.
